Ordering
Is the torch really included?
Yes. The kit is complete: the clay, the torch, the firing brick, the ring mandrel, the brush and the guide. You need nothing else for your first ring. The only consumable is the clay.
Silver or bronze, which one?
Bronze to learn on: 50 g, ten times more material than the silver kit, at the same price. You can fail without counting.
Silver for a piece you keep. It is 999 silver, purer than the sterling silver used in jewellery.
Is it dangerous?
You handle an open flame above 1,000 °C, and the piece stays burning hot long after it goes out. Heat-resistant gloves, metal tongs, a non-flammable surface and a ventilated room are mandatory.
Kit not recommended for anyone under 18. All the instructions, including what to do if you get burned, are on the Precautions page.
Do I need a kiln or a workshop?
No. Everything happens on a table, with the torch provided. That is exactly the point: the workshop fits in the box.
The making
How long does a ring take?
About thirty minutes, firing included. You can wear it the same evening.
Do I need to be good with my hands?
No. The guide offers nine shapes, from the simplest to the most twisted. The first ring is designed to succeed without experience.
Will my ring shrink?
By about 8% during firing. That is expected, and it is why we have you shape the ring one size up. The mandrel provided is there for exactly that.
I ruined my piece.
As long as it is not fired, you knead the clay again and start over as many times as you like. After firing it is metal: there is no going back.
Will the silver tarnish?
It is 999 silver: it patinates over time, like all silver. A pass with the brush and it comes back.
After buying
When do I get my order?
The order goes out within 1 to 2 working days. Then allow 2 to 3 days in France, 4 to 8 days in the European Union, 8 to 15 days elsewhere.

Can I send the kit back?
You have 30 days from receipt, provided the kit has not been started. An opened bag of clay cannot be taken back: it is a consumable.
My order arrived damaged.
Write to us within 48 hours with a photo of the parcel and of the item concerned. We replace it.
I did not find my answer.
Write to us, we reply within 24 to 48 working hours.
