A butane gas refill (cannot be shipped), a non-flammable surface, a glass of water, and somewhere to wash your hands.
What can go wrong
A ring made too thin breaks when you brush it. A ring dried badly cracks in the fire. A stone not pushed in far enough pops out. Before firing you can redo everything — after, the piece is final.
